We bid adeiu to the ultimate creative art space and cafe, The Royal T which will be closing it's doors on July 27th. We gave it a final LA Blythe Meet with an array of over 50 beautiful dolls coming together to show some love. The theme was Disco in honor of an art installation called the Porta-A-Party which is a disco ball and music filled port a potty that resembles an Apple iPod. With KK and I's lack of disco apparel we went with a Sweet Lolita-esque look for our girls, inspired by the uniform of the waitresses. It was lovely catching up once again with some great friends a few new friends and some I have looked forward to meeting. One of the highlights of the meet for me was meeting Laurie(Roxie315) and her Lunita Black Blythe, Olivia. Lunita's Black Blythes have always been my favorite and it was so nice to see her in person. The Bang Pop Up Gallery featuring Onch Movement had tons of fun and whimsical accessories and clothing which KK had fun touching and the store had some great Murakami prints. A big thanks to Penny(Blythegalaxy) for making everyone cute little disco ball charm necklaces for our girls in pretty canisters and a gigantic thank you to YiTing(Immunoblythe) for organizing this wonderful meet! It was nice to be able to get together with everyone especially since I will not be able to attend Blythecon this year...family vacation is calling!!
