Under the Surface

The haunting yet beautiful sculptures of the world’s first underwater sculpture park, creator Jason de Caires Taylor, uses these sculptures to create artificial reefs. The artist’s interventions promote hope and recovery, and underline our need to understand and protect the natural world. The sculptures are sited in clear shallow waters to afford easy access by divers, snorkelers and those in glass-bottomed boats. Viewers are invited to discover the beauty of our underwater planet and to appreciate the processes of reef evolution. These art installations are unique, beautiful and help the environment. I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. These Converse are cool, one hundred percent.

For its Fall 2010 collection, Converse is debuting a quirky line of Dr. Seuss-inspired Chuck Taylor All-Stars. While they have some adorable shoes for toddlers and children, plenty of these are geared towards grown-up so can rock kicks inspired by the likes of The Cat in the Hat and If I Ran the Zoo. The shoes are available for purchase at Converse.com, where adult shoes run from $55-$65 and children’s shoes run from $35-$40 for 0-to 3-years and $40-$45 for 3- to 12-years.
