Mercedes-Benz AcquiresWorld Champion Brawn GP F1 Team

Mercedes-Benz has a long history in grand prix racing. McLaren and Mercedes have won several world championships throughout their fourteen year history together, but now the two companies have gone their separate ways. Although Mercedes will continue to provide McLaren with engines, the automaker has sold its stake back to the racing team. In it's place, Benz has acquired a 75% stake in the Brawn GP team and will now be re branded as Mercedes Grand Prix. The team has already signed Nico Rosberg-one of the youngest and most promising talents on the grid with intentions to announce it's second driver before the 2010 Championship. This will add more drama for the Formula 1 2010 season to come. Can not wait to watch!

Ferrari World Theme Park

If you had the occasion to watch the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which capped the end of the 2009 Formula One World Championship this past weekend, you may have gotten a glimpse of a giant red structure with a huge Ferrari emblem on the roof. What you're looking at is Ferrari World, the first Ferrari theme park, being built on the man-made Yas Island resort in Abu Dhabi. The complex stands as the largest indoor park in the world, encompassing some 2 million square feet under a giant 150-foot-high red steel roof sporting the largest Ferrari logo in the world. Out of the top protrudes a 200-foot g-force drop tower, accompanying the world's fastest roller coaster, a flume ride simulating a Ferrari engine and kart tracks among its 20+ attractions. Of course there'll be plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities that go along with any theme park as well. This one is set to open its doors some time next year as part of an ongoing initiative to turn the United Arab Emirates into a leading tourist destination.

Could you do clogs?

Ahead-of-the-curve moto boot-clog hybrid
As a big fan of clogs, one of the big surprises on the Spring runways was the resurgence of the clog. The wooden-soled staple of Scottish dancers and chefs and nurses the world over received a chic update from some unlikely sources, including Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. But credit Vera Wang with being ahead of the trend. A longtime believer in the backless shoe—she wears hers with leggings—the designer has given her Lavender Label clogs a tough-chic biker spin. And what's more, they're in stores now.

Louis Vuitton Watch Cases

Louis Vuitton has just released two new Monogram watch cases. While Louis Vuitton has been making watches for a while, it is not clear whether or not they have previously made watch cases. Though it makes total sense for the luxury bag and luggage maker to do so. One case is trunk style, and suitable for 8 watches. While the other is more like a roll case, and sized for 3-4 watches. Each are made in France, with the brand's usual style and noticeable exterior. I'm sure you'll think of all sorts of good ways to show these Monogram cases off. Prices are up there - $620 for the 8.3 inch wide smaller case, and $4,070 for the 13.4 inch wide mini-trunk.

The film follows the leader of a travelling theatre troupe who, having made a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations. Heath Ledger stars in the film, though Ledger's death one-third of the way through filming caused production to be temporarily suspended. Ledger's role was recast with Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell portraying transformations of Ledger's character Tony as he travels through a dream world.
